Schindler's List"

Schindler's List" was a great movie to show us what really happend in the holocaust and how people really lived and felt. The Nazis they didnt care if you were a baby or an old person. They just did want they wanted to do, killed who they wanted to kill. The Jews lived hell durning the holocaust. It also showed the hidden places where jews hid like secret compartments in the ghettos and the sewers. Also in the camp rooms where they would hide in floor spaces or they would tiy to hide under mattresses. The movie was very interestinq and explained a lot.

NATO and the Warsaw Pact

NATO was an organization between North America and Europe formed during The Cold War.Right After World War 2 the countries in western europe thought they were too weak to fight against the communist. NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) was formed by North America, Canada, Belgium, United Kingdom, Nederlands, Denmark and several other Eastern European countries. The Warsaw Pact was formed by Eastern Europe: Czechoslovakia, Bulgaria, Albania, Germany, Poland, Romania and the Soviet Union. It was called NATO , April 4,1949 when they signed the North Atlantic Treaty. 6 years after NATO was made the Warsaw Pact was made by a communist military alliance to take power over Eastern Europe.

Film "The Right Stuff"

This Movie was a great way to show us how things happend during the cold war. In the movie the USSR was winning. The USSR send a man up to space and the US sended a chimp to space. US picked eight man to be astronauts. Before they were picked to be astronauts they had to pass a lot of tests, to see if they were capable of doing many things at a time. The man that passed the tests were able to be astronauts. The m0vie was very interestinq and entertianing so i think that would be a great way to remember the cold war.
